Traffic analytics pipeline
A desktop system for traffic monitoring, enforcement and emergency response: it detects, tracks and reads vehicles across camera feeds, measures speed and flags anomalies, built and tested against the CityFlow benchmark.

Virtual cameras
Recorded footage is replayed as endless live feeds, so the whole system can be developed and tested without a camera network.
Three workers
Detection, speed and plate reading run concurrently, sharing models through a registry so each is loaded once.
A validated event stream
Every event is checked against a schema before it leaves the engine, then sent over a FastAPI WebSocket.
Vehicle state and routing
A single store keeps the current state of every tracked vehicle. A router hands each event to the flow, enforcement or emergency module.
Two databases
One for live operations, one for analytics, so reports never slow the control room.
